The highest outdoor bar in the world
"Notably the world's highest al-fresco bar, 1-Altitude presents a world-class nightlife destination with an expansive cocktail menu for Singapore's A-list parties and happenings"
Lighting carries heavy emphasis in chic bars like this and when the owners of the world famous bar needed to replace their existing lights, they knew they needed a better solution than hiding lights meant for indoors under a plastic cover outdoors.
LTAPL were invited to present a solution for their needs and our in-house design team proposed an IP rated wash solution utilizing Illuminati's IP range of fixtures that would survive well in the hot and humid environment of Singapore's weather.
16 such fixtures in individual wash zones and colour changing effects to provide ambience and mood lighting. A Sunlite computer-based controller then provides easy control of the scenes and lighting effects.
After the successful implementation of the lighting system, LTAPL was called upon to further provide a truss system to span the entire dance floor and also allow for better mounting positions for the lights and sound system.
For further enhancement to the excitement and energy of lighting effects, LTAPL proposed and installed 6 nos of our latest Illuminati spot and beam moving heads housed within our proprietary Illuminati weatherproof domes.
This chic welcome bar located on the first floor is a intimate venue providing an initial introduction of what to expect from the group's venues upstairs. A compact and easy to use sound system was implemented with Audica Professional's compact yet powerful Micro series.
The Micropoint speakers installed provide a frequency response down to 70Hz through it's dual 50mm drivers due to some very clever engineering. As a comparison, another famous manufacturer's popular small cube speakers only provide a frequency response down to 210Hz. In layman terms, without a subwoofer, the cube speaker's sound output sounds like a telephone!
